Let’s end all forms of gender based violence and discrimination and combat early marriage and child labor

We want to see the hand that rocks the cradle handled with care!

As part of the #16days to #EndGBV #UNHCRinSyria with partners Al Nada Organization and Syrian Trust Organization among others in cooperation with the Syrian Commission for Family Affairs and Population, started over 40 activities for youth and children to raise awareness on fighting Gender Based Violence. The activities are going on in most major cities of #Syria.

Yesterday the flash mob theater in Latakia with a light show attracted large crowds focusing on ending GBV and early marriages.

The activities include song, dance and interactive theater and awareness sessions. The sessions involved Internally Displaced People (#IDP) in Syria and @Refugees from other countries living in Syria.
