“They want to learn! The children’s energy during class is truly inspiring.” Said a volunteer from Syrian Society for Social Development (SSSD), UNHCR’s implementing partner in Al-Hassakeh.

The collective remedial classes target the children in #Hassakeh and #Qamishli, who live in collective shelters and had missed classes due to various reasons.

SSSD Volunteers provide compensatory lessons. These courses conducted regularly in group sessions, depending on the needs and requirements of the displaced children.
The classes help the children to keep up with the school’s curriculum and reduce the possibility of them dropping-out.
